OLD MAN WINTER
Its been a long cold winter for so many people! Plants and trees were already budding here in the South Carolina lowcountry, and now its close to 30 degrees and dropping. Its been a good winter to stay close to a hot fire and do a little reflecting.
I spread myself so thin sometimes, I seem to get nothing done. Im going to work on that. Its also a great time to get out that camping gear, see what needs fixing, thrown away, or taken care of in general. That way, when you suddenly get that urge come spring time, you will be ready to do some carolina camping! If you wait, you may be camping and find your stove or lantern doesn’t work right. Or a mouse made a nest in a sleeping bag! Fun! So get that gear out, make a checklist of things to check! Its going to be a great spring for camping!!
