Haunting Beauty of Hunting Island after a storm!

Haunting Beauty ofHunting Is. after a fall storm! Camp the Carolinas! Thats right! We have some of the finest camping spots in the southeastern United States!!

When you choose to camp the carolinas, you can find something to please everyone, young and older ones alike.

There are rugged, remote beaches in both states, as well as beach camping in such popular spots as Myrtle Beach, SC.

For those who enjoy boating and fishing, there are wonderful lakes and rivers just waiting to be explored. Many peope don’t know that the world’s longest black water river, the Edisto River, is in SC. It empties into the ocean at a remote, yet beautiful place called Edisto Island, which features a very good campground, right on the beach! Many people love the solitude and beauty of the famous Hunting Island. The photo above is Hunting Island after a storm! Credit for that is from my good friend , who comes all the way from NC, to camp here. If you have ever watched a full moon come up, over Hunting Is, the you know how magical a place it can be!

When you Camp The Carolinas, you also get the magnificent beauty of the Blueridge and the Smoky Mountains. Breathtaking fiery leaves in the fall, and beautiful flowers in the spring! Hiking trails, biking trails and even horse trails. I;ve ridden here in the Lowcountry of SC, and in Pisgah National Forest, and they are both great! There are so many ways to enjoy camping in the carolinas!! Take a little time, come with me and lets do some exploring!
